The New Balance 2002R "Refined Future - Grey" is a classic running and lifestyle shoe grey-based color that modifies son design with a pre-distress look. New Balance's Refined Future Pack in the colours 2002R is similar to the Protection Pack in that the series updates the shoe's design with a decoonostrich look. Specifically, the “Refined Future” design has a weatherproof appearance with torn ons overlays suggesting prolongée wear. The base of the shoe is concaught in grey, as are the superpositionsons in suede. A "N" logo appears on both sides. Burst marks appear on the shoe’s ABZORB cushioned midsole.
